Funny but Gurman’s sentiment feels right here—more over the top branding from Apple’s marketing team. A bit extreme given the pack is more of a side effect rather than a feature; to make the headset light(er) the battery had to go somewhere that wasn’t on the user’s face.
Humor aside, I think those who buy the Vision Pro will appreciate not having to wear the additional weight of its battery on their face. It’s an objectively good choice even if the chosen solution isn’t elegant. At least it’s better than charging the Magic Mouse or gen 1 Apple Pencils.
